I’ll keep this short, but Intel has launched PC.com as a help site for PC users. That’s all fine, and they’ve got most of the basics covered.
The FAIL comes when you go to their video section. Aside from the fact that they’ve launched the section with nearly no content and lots of “coming soon” signs, the few videos they have are even more boring than the OS they’re pushing. Oh, and you can’t embed them or send a link to them to, oh, i don’t know, maybe a parent or friend who needs the help.
This is just one more example of a company with all the resources to do it right who decides to do it in a completely half-assed and uneducated manner and then wonders why their internet initiatives fail.
And this is a leading tech company. Seriously, that’s shameful.
